PURPOSE

To study in detail the entire structural process that a Director´s Assistent needs to know in irder to give good advice to the Film Director.. And how this knowledge is important in the process of moving from being a Director´s Assistent to being a Director.

CONTENT

We will take a look at all the stages involved in making a film - Pre Production , Preparation , Filming and Concluding the Film - studying the relationship of the Director´s Assistent with the various departments and with the technical team.

The definition of goals with the director in relation to the script and to the characteristics of the project to be filmed :

Phase 1 : From Pre-Production to Technical Analysis

Phase 2 : Technical Analysis

Phase 3 : Planning the Filming and the Daily Schedule

Phase 4 : The Relationship of the Assistents to the Production Department , the Art Department and the Cast

Phase 5 : A practical exercise in Technical Analysis , Planning the Filming and Making Up a Daily Schedule
