TARGET PUBLIC
Students interested in Editing Films and in the process of the Post-Production of a Film
PURPOSE
In general , this workshop is for all those who wish to become
involved creatively and technically with the language of film.
We will identify the basic principles and the practice of editing films , proposing
to make clear the editor’s responsibilities towards the film and the
production.
CONTENT
The first three days of the workshop consist of theory classes about the basic principles of editing , presenting texts and examples of diverse editing styles , and the basic responsibilities of an editor. The two final days will be dedicated to practical exercises in editing.

SECOND DAY - Principles of Editing
Construction of a clear continuity
The Correspondance of consecutive activities
Modification of the size and angle of the image
Preservation of the sense of direction
Duration of planes: Rhythm and tempo
