Introduction

With the growth of the audio-visual industry in Brazil and the consequent increase in cinematographic production, which has been consolidating its position in the internal market and reconquering the international market, it has become apparent as each day goes by that there exists a need for being up-to-date technically as well as for the opening of the market to new professionals.

Although the Rio-São Paulo area dominates the field, new locations in national film-making production have come to the fore , especially in the Southern and Northeastern regions. The project "Traveling Film-Making Workshops" intends to work with this new market profile, using the knowledge and experience of professionals active in film-making in Brazil or abroad in order to disseminate concepts and techniques that will awaken the interest of amateurs and that will make professional certification available to those who in one way or another are already active in the field.
