Fifteen years ago, Carlos (Murilo Benício) went to the movie theater in order to meet Julia (Carolina Ferraz), a student from the same university with whom he was in love. However, the wait is in vain, since Julia never appears, leaving Carlos alone in the foyer of the movie theater. While he waits , something happens that will change Carlos´ life forever.

Fifteen years after this event , we move on to follow three possible and distinct versions of Carlos´ life. In the first version, he is a man divided between the stability of a secure life and a lukewarm marriage, and the growing desire to experience passion. In the second version, Carlos is a homosexual who values passion above everything else. In the third version, he is a man who still hasn´t discovered love and who looks for the ideal woman through consecutive and disastrous relationships. Only one of these lives is true , being that another one is fictitious and the third one is the life that he would really like to live. But in order to discover which of these three possibilities is Carlos´real life, it is necessary to go back in time and find out what really happened after he waited for Julia in the cinema foyer.
